“Creating a Culture of Assessment”
“The role, purpose, and value of academic library assessment must be ‘anchored’ in an organization’s purpose.” –Joseph Matthews inLibrary Assessment in Higher Education (2007)
Our speaker will be Dr. Terry Huttenlock, Associate Professor of Library Science at Wheaton College. Dr. Huttenlock will be speaking about assessment, encouraging us to think holistically about library assessment. She will offer strategies for making effective assessment part of our library’s culture, something that we embrace as part of a typical workday, and that can help inform ongoing reflection and efforts aimed at improving our users’ learning experience.
